As a Regional Advising Manager, I help oversee the Massachusetts advising team. I have been involved in youth development work for nine years and believe strongly in the power of young people. I am a first-generation college graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I got my B.A. in communication. I chose to work at uAspire because as a first-generation college student myself, I was in awe of the work this organization is able to do in schools. It was also an opportunity to learn, grow, and continue to help students and youth. uAspire really focuses on the students' needs and supports them in any and every way can. Not only to get the job done, but to help break down the barriers that may have been holding them back from their postsecondary aspirations.
