Andrew is a College Affordability Advisor in the Bay Area where he advises postsecondary students on how to secure financial aid and manage college costs. He previously worked as a Client Advocate at the Santa Cruz County Public Defender's Office. In this 2-year professional fellowship with Partners for Justice, he worked to establish a model of holistic defense in Santa Cruz to ensure that both the legal and social goals of clients are being met. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Education and minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies. I joined uAspire because of their commitment to educational equity and mission to promote the economic mobility of underserved communities. As a first-generation college student, I understand the struggle of overcoming structural and financial barriers to higher education. I'm excited to help students navigate complex financial aid systems and support them in their postsecondary pathways.
