Melody Zheng is a College Affordability Advisor based in the Bay Area. Her primary focus is to support senior high school students in making informed decisions for their post high school pathways and to provide guidance on navigating the various challenges of applying to and interpreting financial aid. Melody is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, where she obtained a double Bachelor of Arts in English and Art Studio. She has previously volunteered and worked in various non-profit sectors in the role of an educator, and has kept her professional experience concentrated on the uplifting and support of marginalized and low-income youth.
I have always found working with students to be the most rewarding career path, as I love being able to witness the direct growth of the next generation blossom with the help I contribute in giving. It makes the work I do feel worthwhile, and it is with these feelings and sentiments that I have found myself at uAspire. I feel great importance in our mission of elevating students in areas that may not necessarily be academia-focused, but are equally as relevant.
