For me, it has been very important to see youth realize their potential and achieve their post-secondary goals. Through my work experiences, I have seen how college affordability has been one of the major barriers for students. As a first-generation college student, I am aware of the challenges my family encountered when I first applied for college and tried to decipher the financial aid process. uAspire is doing amazing and unique work by supporting students and their families through various service models. I am excited to play a part in uAspire's efforts to challenge the systems that make college unaffordable and help students feel empowered to achieve their dreams and goals.
