Simone Hill is a diversity and inclusion strategist with experience spanning across private, nonprofit, and academic sectors. She currently leads Omidyar Network's execution of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the People Ops function to maintain an innovative and holistic employee experience. She also works with the program teams to examine and challenge systemic issues related to DEI and offer up solutions to empower disadvantaged individuals globally. Simone is passionate about helping startup companies create scalable HR and DEI practices that foster open, reflective, and inclusive cultures. Simone earned her MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University and a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut. In her spare time, Simone enjoys reading, singing, and dancing- mainly to Beyoncé.
