Terry Vaughan III, Ph.D. is the Associate Executive Director of Research at Workcred. He is responsible for providing collaborative leadership to expand and manage the organization's research agenda and funding for projects and initiatives aimed at improving the U.S. credentialing system. Before joining Workcred, he served as the Vice President of Research at the Council for Opportunity in Education, where provided strategic leadership and managed the day-to-day operations of COE's research department focused on improving college access and success for first-generation college students and students from low-income backgrounds. Terry received his BA (Philosophy) from DePaul University and his MA/Ph.D. (Educational Policy Studies) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
