Yessenia Santiago is a dedicated College Affordability Advisor with the New York team, committed to helping first-generation and low-income students navigate the complexities of financial aid. Her dedication to creating opportunities for underserved students reflects her belief that a college education should be within reach for everyone, regardless of their financial background. With a focus on breaking down barriers and providing personalized support, Yessenia is passionate about empowering students to overcome financial challenges and achieve their post-secondary education goals. Yessenia is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business. Prior to this role, she worked closely with different companies to provide logistical and administrative support. I joined uAspire because I am driven by a deep-seated passion for educational equity and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of first-generation and low-income students. This stems from my own experiences and a strong desire to help others navigate the barriers I once faced. I understand that navigating the many obstacles that come with higher education can be overwhelming alone. I strive to guide my students to accomplish their goals and achieve their own greatness. My own goal is to utilize my knowledge and experiences to drive pivotal changes within each student I work with, to empower them, root for their successes, and teach them as much as I can in all their endeavors.
