uAspire kicked off the Fall 2024 policy fellows program with orientations in Boston, Sacramento, and New York City on September 13th. 

Through a paid fellowship program, uAspire supports college students to build advocacy skills to change financial aid systems to be more equitable, simple, and transparent. uAspire’s fellowship program is designed for college students navigating financial aid systems while pursuing their degree to leverage their experiences and expertise to advocate for policy change.

Over the course of the semester, fellows develop the knowledge and skills to work with those in power to influence policy. Policy fellows will meet with government officials, research policy issues, write media materials, and inform strategy. uAspire staff are excited to work with this semester’s cohort and look forward to their achievements and impact!
